Avatar Loorparg
 Avatar has a long history of teaching in New Zealand secondary schools. She was HOD English before becoming an advisor for School Support Services. She then moved to lecturing all different levels at VUW College of Education. After 14 years of tertiary education, she is currently teaching English at Otaki College.
Cathy Sheppard
 Cathy Sheppard has been involved in education for over 25 years, starting with Japanese and Maths in secondary schools, and teaching in both New Zealand and Japan. With 4 children, her early childhood experience began in Playcentre where she gained the Playcentre Diploma in Early Childhood & Adult Education and spent over 20 years in a wide variety of roles, including as a PLD Facilitator for five years working with people and centres to improve practice. Having spent extended periods in Japan, and speaking both Japanese and French, she brings a strong understanding of different cultures to her work with people. She is also a registered early childhood teacher. Cathy has her own business working with individuals, businesses or teams to develop their interpersonal skills, improving communication and team work. She is also a facilitator for Te Rito Maioha Early Childhood New Zealand for the Incredible Years Teacher Programme and Five out of Five. Cathy has a passion for education and leadership, supporting people to continue learning and gaining confidence in themselves, while valuing others.
Chris Mitchell
 Chris has been involved in Office Administration since 1999, working in both the healthcare and the manufacturing sectors. Prior to this she worked as a Teacher Aid for seven years, predominantly with a profoundly deaf child and assisting with Remedial Reading and Extension Programmes for Years 5 - 6. Chris is the TRCC Office Manager and has responsibility for course registrations and travel arrangements.
Danielle Sanders
Danielle is the Deputy Principal of Kelburn Normal School. She is an experienced teacher and has worked with children from Year 1-8 in a wide variety of schools. As a senior leader, she has many roles, including overseeing teacher inquiry and appraisal, and Initial Teacher Education. One of her initiatives at her current school is developing a professional learning culture where teachers collaborate and innovate. Her school is in the process of moving to a new building: one of Danielle's roles here is as a member of the team facilitating professional development around the e-Competencies and innovative learning environments. As a teacher, she works in several contexts, from co-teaching a year 7&8 class to organising the Student Council. She is an activist for equity and quality in public education, the treasurer of the Wellington Branch of NZEI, and a member of TRCC.
Diane Lawrence
 Diane has worked in early childhood education since the early 1980s, teaching in Otaki, Foxton, London and Wellington. Diane has been a course director for TRCC and attended many TRCC courses. She has close contacts with the Victoria University School of Education, both as an Associate teacher and serving on committees for them. She also supports Whitireia and Te Tari Puna o Aotearoa (NZ Childcare Assocation) as an associate teacher. Diane has an active role within NZEI Te Riu Roa, formerly as both the Wellington Distict Council and Mana Branch past chairperson. She has been active within the kindergarten networks, and supporting the Wellington early childhood network.
Eseta Fuli
 Eseta has been involved in the education sector for over 25 years. She is a primary trained teacher and worked in Auckland and London for some years before relocating to Wellington. She worked for NZEI Te Riu Roa for four years as the course coordinator for Te Kete Aronui- Centre of Educational Excellence (the PLD arm of NZEITRR). She is the Executive Officer at the TRCC and has responsibility for TRCC Committee matters and course management.
Kathryn Levy
 Kathryn currently teaches at Onslow College where she is HOD Nutrition and Food Technology. She has previously taught textiles and design, and science. She is keen to ensure that there is ongoing learning and professional development for teachers of Home Economics and Food Technology; curriculum areas that have undergone significant change over the years and continue to do so. Kathryn is the current Chair of TRCC.
Monica Mercury
 Monica Mercury is a graduate of Te Whānau o Ako Pai ki Te Upoko o Te Ika, (the original Wellington College of Education), and has been involved in teaching for the last 16 years. She has taught at a range of levels from Year 2 to Year 8 and is currently the Senior Syndicate and Curriculum Leader at Houghton Valley School in Wellington. Her other interests include coaching and playing basketball and spending quality time with her whānau.
Penny Kinsella
 Penny Kinsella is currently a Deputy Principal at Onslow College in Wellington. Among her responsibilities are teacher professional learning and development, provisionally registered teachers, and trainee teachers. Each year Penny teaches a science or chemistry class. Penny has a post graduate diploma in educational professional development. She has previously lectured in science-teacher education at VUW School of Education and has been a teacher adviser in science education and assessment. Penny was a marker and examiner for secondary qualifications over a period of ten years and also did extensive work in the development of standards for the introduction of NCEA and unit standards prior to that. She has organised several teacher conferences, including convening SciCon 2007.
Serena Lewis
 Serena Lewis is currently teaching Year 2/3 at Wainuiomata Primary School. Serena has been teaching for 11 years whilst also working on the NZEI Executive in a variety of roles. She is always interested in extending her knowledge through professional learning and inquiry. Her passions include reading and spending time with her whānau. Serena is current Deputy Chair of the Committee.
