In Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Sectors


This course is designed for new and beginning Pacific educators from the Early
Childhood, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary sectors. This course explores the significant ways that Pacific educators can make a difference to student achievement. It offers an opportunity to:

• find out more about effective teaching and learning practices to engage students;
• query  what it means to be a professional Pacific educator or practitioner; and
• develop an individual plan in leadership development and pathways to management roles

The objectives are:
• To investigate best practice for Pacific educators and learners
• To explore a range of career pathways for Pacific educators
• To participate in a professional learning community of Pacific educators
