TRCC endeavours to offer some travel assistance for teachers travelling within New Zealand to attend TRCC courses. The amount of travel assistance available for each given course is set by the Committee and will be published on the course flyer and the course page on the TRCC website - e.g. TRCC will subsidise travel for the first 50 paid registrations for this course .

The current policy is that, subject to budget limitations (i.e. the amount set for the given course), TRCC provides:

Flights:

• A return air ticket for travel of over 200km (each way) to a course

If registration payment has been received prior to the Early Bird date then TRCC will book and pay for your flights (unless special arrangements have been made).

Land Travel

• Reimbursement for those travelling between 50 to 200km each way to a course using the formula of 10 Litres per 100km travelled x the average per litre fuel cost (91 octane) e.g. 300kms travelled return = 30 litres x average per litre fuel cost (e.g. $1.97) = $59.10
  
  
• Reimbursement for land travel (where preferred by those travelling more than 200km each way ) using the formula of 10 Litres per 100km travelled x the average per litre fuel cost (91 octane) up to a cap of $300 total. e.g. 1000kms travelled return = 100 litres x average per litre fuel cost (e.g. $1.97) = $197

Travel assistance is not available for travel of up to 50km each way to a course.

If registration payment is recieved after the Early Bird date then you will need to book and pay for your own travel.

The level of funding per course for travel is set by the TRCC committee. It is advisable to register and pay promptly to ensure access to travel assistance.
